Dahi Wada
Ingredients
For Wada
2 cups Urad dal (soaked overnight)
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying
For Dahi
3 cups of Curds (sour if u prefer)
3-4 Green Chillies
1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds
2 tsp of Oil
Method:
1.Grind the soaked dal in a grinder with as little water as possible. Add
salt to taste and keep aside.
2.Take a kadhai and add a little oil. Add the mustard seeds and after
they start spluttering add the green chillies and fry for a moment.
Take off the heat and let cool. Add the curds and some water. (if the
curd is thick). Add salt to taste.
3.Heat oil for deep frying the wada. Make small wadas and deep fry till
they are of a lovely golden brown.
4.Add them to the curd mixture immediately. (Some people like to dip
them in water first). Let each wada soak in the curd mixture for at
some time.
